Christopher J. Barrett REALTORS
is truly a second-generation business.

Not only are Chris M., Michael and Gerald Barrett involved in the business
started by their parents, Christopher J. and Marilyn Barrett, in 1969,
Steve Zaya
is working at the company where his father, Edward, worked for many years,
until he passed away in 1981.

According to Christopher J. Barrett, Steve has followed in his father’s footsteps.
Edward was the first real estate professional in Wakefield to reach $1 million
in sales in a year and was consistently among the company’s top producers.
During his first year at
Christopher J. Barrett REALTORS, Steve was voted
Realty Guild’s Rookie of the Year, and he, too, is among the top producers.

Steve has been a licensed real estate sales person since 1986. Steve also
serves as
Christopher J. Barrett REALTORS’ webmaster and has been
instrumental in the redesign of the website.

More and more people are using the internet to look for a home, according to
Steve, and as a result, “hits” to the site have been steadily
increasing. The site is accessed an average of 2,700 times each month, or
roughly 90 times a day. According to Steve’s research, most local residents
directly access the site via while out-of-town residents
access the site through

“The site is constantly evolving and becoming even more user-friendly than
ever before,” Steve said. “In addition to home listings, the site includes features
such as links to community and civic organizations, school information and
links, up-to-date mortgage rates and mortgage calculators.”

Before joining
